Accounts Receivable Administration Manager

Breedon are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Administration Manager to join our Credit Control team based in Lockington, near Derby. The purpose of this role is to effectively manage the onboarding, master data, invoicing and cash allocation processes, and acting as business partner to senior credit management. A proven track record in maintaining and improving processes is required, and well as an understanding and familiarity with the audit process. You will be managing a team of 10.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer onboarding and master data processes
  • Invoice and credit processes
  • Process improvement and streamlining
  • Coaching of team and performance improvement
  • Encouraging a target driven culture of success
  • Application, maintenance, and development of key controls
  • Regular internal audit of controls
  • Ensuring business understands and works within the defined policies
  • Continuous audit of processes and performance
  • Liaison with the commercial business
  • Troubleshooting and management of manual and automated processes
  • Qualifications & Experience required:

  • Leadership, management, and team-building skills
  • Likely to have a billing or Credit Management background
  • Time and process management, including the ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous deadlines, set priorities, and work under pressure
  • Experience in the application of administrational processes
  • Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality and privacy
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel user
  • Analytical skills

    • Assist in the laundering of bed linen
    • Keep store cupboards and trolleys safe and tidy

    We’re looking for an Engineering Draughtsperson to join our Design and Engineering department based in Huntington, York. As an Engineering Draughtsperson, you will have experience using computer-aided design packages such as AutoCAD or Inventor and will be looking to develop your skills and build a career with Portakabin!
    Role Responsibilities

    • Support the Engineering team in ensuring that the Structural / Project Engineer’s designs are correctly interpreted, drawn up within agreed timescales and in compliance with all relevant company specifications and protocols, statutory legislation and codes of practice.
    • Assist the Engineering team in providing detailed engineering drawings to customers, manufacturing and site operatives to enable the engineers design to be planned, constructed and installed safely.
    • Where required, assist in the inspection of built engineering solutions and review for compliance with design intent and robust installation during off-site manufacture and on-site construction.
    • Liaise with customers (internal and external), collaborators, contractors and suppliers as required to ensure that all requirements and performance specifications are achieved.
    • Participate in design reviews.

    Our Ideal Candidate
    We are looking for someone who has:

    • A good level of numeracy/literacy
    • Proficiency in the use of CAD (AutoCAD, Inventor or similar)
    • Competency in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel
    • Good basic knowledge of Structural and Building Engineering
    • Health and Safety awareness and competence
