Senior Interior Designer Job in New Milton, Hampshire

Currently seeking a Senior Interior Designer with a strong background in workplace design and experience managing a project across all stages, to join a practice based in New Milton, Hampshire. With a growing pipeline of work, our client is looking to expand their team of designers and have multiple positions available at this level. The role will see you take the lead on your projects and manage them across all stages, in return, our client is offering a competitive salary + benefits + hybrid working.

Established in 2008, the practice operates under a number of divisions and have gone from strength to strength over the years. This is a creative design role within the design & build sector. The successful candidate will have experience working from concept through to installation, liaising with both clients and contractors and will be able to work under the guidance of the head of design and with the support from a wider design team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To take the lead of your projects and manage them through to completion
  • Produce highly detailed and accurate concept design work
  • Use AutoCAD and SketchUp for technical drawings and design detailing
  • To understand and work within the company’s design standards and required specifications
  • Attend site visits/sub-contractor meetings alongside other members of the team
  • Work with the wider team to develop and deliver client pitch presentations

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture – desirable, not essential
  • 5+ years of experience working in workplace design (ideally D&B)
  • Good understanding of relevant building regulations and industry standards
  • Strong knowledge of FF&E and suppliers
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of project price-points
  • Competent using AutoCAD, SketchUp Adobe CS, and MS Office. Revit experience is also beneficial
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle

Specialist Renewable energy company based in Winchester are looking for a Qualified Electrician with Solar Panel Installation experience to join their team working on projects across the Winchester area.

They work both on commercial and residential projects across the country. You will be working alongside electricians and solar panel installers to perform the electrical side of the installation and test the panels. They are looking for somebody who is a qualified electrician with a background of working with solar panels.

There will be travel involved with the role and some nights away 1-2 days per month ( all expenses are covered) Valid driving licence is required for the role as a company car will be provided to travel across the sites.

The working hours are 40 hours per week, however, if you are able to finish the project in 2 days rather than 4, the remaining days will be free for you to take.
