Regional Sales Executive / Staircase Advisor

Northern Joinery Ltd, a privately owned business with over 60 years’ experience in quality volume staircase manufacturing have an opportunity for a Sales Executive to manage their southern territory, this is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of a well-established business.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring they have regular contact and site visits in order to add value to the organisation by gaining a deep understanding of the customer and their business needs. Your client base will be primarily architects, house builders, self-builders and other building and design professionals.
Role responsibilities:
- Identify new sales leads with existing customers and create proposals to such queries
- Identify new potential customers including using proprietary software which provides construction project leads, market analysis and forecasting
- Business development, sales queries and dealing with day to day sales activities
- Maintaining and developing relationships with customers
- Take accurate measurements and detailed information on site for manufacturing
- Work with customers, site managers, architects etc to interpret / develop specification, dimensional and regulatory requirements
- Act as the main point of contact for regional customers on all client matters
- Providing information to company deadlines
About you:
We are looking for a candidate, ideally located in the Bristol area, with experience in the house building/joinery trades. This may also suit a time-served joiner wishing to transfer their knowledge to a sales role.
Also required:
- Staircase knowledge is essential for this role
- Able to work remotely effectively, planning own workload
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivated and driven to succeed
- Strong attention to detail
