Location: Wincham, Chesire

What do the daily duties look like?
- The CAD Coordinator will produce CAD plans of modular buildings in line with the relevant guidance and regulations. Often tailored made to the needs of the client.
- You will be involved in the planning of Modular Construction of site accommodation, working to standardised way of building where possible.
- You will engage with both internal stakeholders and external clients to capture requirements and offered tailored solutions for each site.
- Working on initial drawings and taking the product through the design phases into completion, seeing the finished product first-hand
- Assisting in the review of design information
- Communicating with internal and external design teams
- Showcase the benefits of modular construction
Useful skills/knowledge:
Most of the work is carried out on AutoCAD with Revit knowledge being an advantage.
Knowledge of structural drawings would help you to perform this role well. As the product is manufactured on site an understanding of DFMA (Design for manufacturing Assembly) or manufacturing process would help you thrive. Other fields that can be transferred are building services design, MEP design or similar.
