New opportunity for a Associate / Associate Director level Quantity Surveyor with a Construction Consultancy based in Birmingham city centre. This is a multi-disciplinary Consultancy offering both Project Management and Cost Consultancy services to a range of clients in sectors such as residential, commercial, education and leisure. An employee owned, high profile firm and highly regarded employer.

We’re therefore looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with good all round PQS /cost consultancy experience. The successful candidate will be leading the QS team in Birmingham, with some service delivery involvement on larger projects. Highly capable whilst still committed to learning, enthusiastic and keen to work in a great team of construction professionals. They continue to win work and are particularly busy in developer led schemes in sectors such as residential, commercial and industrial and we are looking for experience in these or similar sectors with in particular experience in the Employers Agent role, although we do need a PQS background. Given the seniority of the role we would also anticipate the successful candidate be fully (MRICS) qualified.

Specialist Renewable energy company based in Winchester are looking for a Qualified Electrician with Solar Panel Installation experience to join their team working on projects across the Winchester area.

They work both on commercial and residential projects across the country. You will be working alongside electricians and solar panel installers to perform the electrical side of the installation and test the panels. They are looking for somebody who is a qualified electrician with a background of working with solar panels.

There will be travel involved with the role and some nights away 1-2 days per month ( all expenses are covered) Valid driving licence is required for the role as a company car will be provided to travel across the sites.

The working hours are 40 hours per week, however, if you are able to finish the project in 2 days rather than 4, the remaining days will be free for you to take.
