Key Responsibilities

You will carry out all maintenance service duties required to keep the network safe and resilient, in accordance with the MRP/AMOR and as instructed by the Supervisor. Undertake shift briefings, site inductions, TBTs with all operational staff to ensure risks and hazards are properly identified and managed and maintain relevant records. Attend shift handover meetings to ensure adequate information is passed over form outgoing shift to incoming shift and vice versa. Where appropriate, perform the LTMO role or the Lead Installer role and inspect the VRS asset as required within the bi annual programme. Ensure the safe installation of TTM layouts in accordance with the appropriate drawings and instructions, oversee and direct routine maintenance activities within established TTM making best use of road space. Check work packs are relevant and suitable for purpose, ensuring all site specific hazards are managed. Undertake inspections to monitor workmanship and material quantities for all works, ensuring the relevant records are maintained. Take part in standby duties during the week and weekends for incident response and winter maintenance response where required. Ensure completion of all relevant site records, daily allocation sheets, daily handover reports, diaries, DCP information, accident/incident documentation, audit checks etc.

What do we need from you?

  • 12A,B,C,D Lantra Certified
  • TMF/LTMO Certificated where appropriate
  • 2B Lead/and or Installer Certificated
  • CSCS accreditation
  • Full driving licence. LGV Licence preferred
  • Highway Maintenance experience
  • Winter Maintenance NVQ and practical knowledge
  • Incident Management skills
