Position: Site Managers

As Site Manager, you will have full responsibility for the construction and management of the project, ensuring a safe and efficient delivery to a valued Client.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the buildings from groundworks through to full completion.
  • Liaising with Project/Contract Manager, Client, Design Team etc. on site.
  • Manage and coordinate all trade contractors whilst maintaining a high expectation of health & safety, quality control on site.
  • Ensuring the project is running in accordance with the programme and on budget.
  • Dealing with any problems which could hold up work as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or the equivalent.
  • 5 years + experience in a similar role in Ireland or UK with a Main Contractor.
  • Have strong communication and IT skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload with excellent time management & managerial skills.
  • Excellent reference and performance history

Structural Engineer / Dratfsman

McGinley Support Services are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer / Draftsman, with excellent mathematical; IT and analytical skills, for a permanent position based in High Wycombe.

The Structural Engineer will provide structural duties to a number of projects. Will establish the level and survey control for contracts and set out detailed works per the contract drawings, ensuring that checks are made regularly.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare report, designs and drawings

* Make calculations about pressures, loads and stresses

* Ensure that all drawings and work instructions are kept up to date

* Administer contracts and manage projects

* Consider the strengh of construction materials and select appropriately

* Analyse configurations of the basic components of a structure

* Ensure the quality of products and services is maintained and make improvements to the processes where necessary

* Carry out regular programme monitoring

Requirements (Essential):

* Degree in Structural Engineering

* Bachelor of science in Engineering or Architecture

* 3-4+ years experience as a Structural Engineer / Draftsman

* Expert in project management

* Proficient in the use of AtuoCAD and MS Office

* Ability to produce clear and informative production drawings and technical information

* Ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines

* Able to work under [ressure and meet tight dealines

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

* SMSTS

* CSCS Card

* Cable avoidance training

* First aid training

* NEBOSH or IOSH
