Senior Interior Designer Job in Putney, London
A multi-award winning AJ100 Practice based in Putney, London, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their interiors team on a full-time permanent basis. You will be working on a range of large-scale multi-unit residential projects as part of a small team, engaging with the wider team on a frequent basis. The role offers an attractive salary of circa£50,000 per annum plus generous annual leave and an extensive list of employee benefits.
Established over two decades ago, the practice has three studios across the globe and a strong international client base. They’re now looking to expand their interiors division with this new role which will see you work closely with the head of the department and the wider architectural team to deliver projects from concept through to delivery. The position is a hands-on role, that involves technical design, concept design, FF&E, and overseeing installations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work on projects from concept through to completion
- Create and manage project timetables, manage budgets, and manage resources
- Produce high-quality design deliverables, including technical drawings and tender packs
- FF&E scheduling, specifications, and costings
- Work with the wider architecture and visualisation teams on relevant topics
- Create samples, concept designs, mood boards, and hand sketches for client presentations
- Liaise with clients and contractors directly
- Travel to and oversee site work/installations.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years’ experience, ideally from a similar practice (AJ100)
- Qualified with an industry relevant degree – interior design, interior architecture, or architecture
- Proficient Vectorworks, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite user
- Good FF&E knowledge and experience
- Experienced at working on large-scale residential projects.
