Kier Infrastructure Services are currently recruiting for a Section Engineer to manage the technical compliance of the project to the design specification, in order to meet the required quality, time and safety standards of the project (section).

Key Responsibilities

In this exciting Section Engineer role, you’ll assist in managing systems to enable the progress of work to be planned and executed. You’ll provide engineering support to resolve technical issues and be responsible for production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements as well as ensuring that the works are correctly set out. You’ll assist in the recording and testing of workmanship and materials and regularly check the setting out points. You will ensure that all setting out works are delivered to site with the required certification and that your works are delivered safely, on time and to the standards required by the specification. You will have to manage a small number of individuals including junior and setting out engineers.

What are we looking for?

A proactive, problem solver with good commercial and contractual awareness. You’ll have previous experience in a similar role covering formwork and reinforced concrete and hold a valid UK driving license. You’ll be qualified to degree standard or equivalent and strong people/project management skills.
