We’re currently recruiting for a HR Operations Manager to join our existing team within the HR Shared Service Centre, reporting into our HR Operations Manager. This role will entail providing a first-class experience and smooth transition for any employees who are impacted by TUPE, into or out of Kier.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an HR Operations Manager who will report into the Head of HR Shared Services. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the Operational Management of the HRSSC ensuring SLA’s are met across all the teams and providing regular monthly reporting packs to Head of HRSSC. As we are undergoing a period of change this role needs flexibility and experience to manage any of the teams across the HRSSC. The role is a critical part of the Senior Management team in the HR shared service centre where you will have multiple Team Managers reporting directly into you with their subsequent teams under your remit. In addition to this you will play an integral part of our team by ensuring we are providing the best possible service to both our internal and external customers and you will be instrumental in delivering the future HRSSC Operating model, functional plan, and 2-year strategy. Reviewing existing processes and procedures also providing recommendations for improvements and new ways of working is also an important part of this role as well as reviewing documentation, governance and controls that are in place to ensure they are fit for purpose.

What do we need from you?

You will need demonstrable knowledge of UK ER legislation, practices and procedures with an aptitude to understand business requirements, as well as experience of working within large scale HR Shared Service Centre customer focused environment. Previous senior management experience within a HRSSC function with proven knowledge of Oracle HR or other similar ERP systems is essential to this role. You will need excellent numeracy and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
