Highways Design Engineer

We’re looking for a Highways Design Engineer to join our Highways team based in Bristol. Location: Bristol
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (Part-time hours available if desired, just let us know)
Salary: £36k – £40k + 26 days of annual leave + Benefits

Responsibilities

As a Highways Design Engineer, you’ll provide technical support on various Highway design contracts within Kier Design & Technology Services. Current contracts include Local Authority Highway Works, National Highways Area & Regional Contracts particularly Major Projects A66 NTP and M6 Emergency Laybys.

Your day to day will include:

  • Prepare preliminary and detailed designs in accordance with approved design procedures for local and national authorities and reporting progress to Senior members of the team
  • Production of design deliverables, Health, Safety and Welfare contract documentation in accordance with the Construction, Design & Management Regulations 2015
  • Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up proposals that satisfy client’s technical specifications

    Who are we looking for?

    This role of Highways Design Engineer is great for you if you are:

  • Working towards the Chartered qualification with the relevant institution
  • Experienced in the design of UK local authority/ National Highways schemes in various aspects of Highways design such as pavements, VRS, Traffic Signs

The Job:

The Window and Door Sales Executive will meet customers who visit the showroom and deal with all queries and issue quotations as required. They will also work on business development and take the lead as the primary contact for all orders placed.

Internal Window and Door Sales Executive Responsibilities:

  • Generate Sales of the company’s product & services by responding to enquiries with quotes and follow-up to convert to an order.
  • Deal with Showroom enquiries, including quotations and follow-up with customers
  • Generate new customers and expand existing customer requirements through outside sales.
  • Own the sale once it becomes an order, becoming the primary company contact regarding queries and information flow.
  • Ensure information to be entered in CRM or claims are passed to Sales Administrator for system entry

CSCS Labourer required for a large nationwide construction company that specialises in groundworks projects. Our client is looking for experienced and hardworking labourer to join a project based in Stratford Upon Avon. The site can be accessed by public transport so own transport is not essential.

This contract will be ongoing, with hours being 7:30 – 4:30, Monday-Friday and the option to work overtime at the weekends.

Daily responsibilities will include:
