JOB DESCRIPTION:
My client who are an exciting Facilities Management company are looking for a Fabric Engineer with fire door experience in Stockport on a mobile basis to work across multiple sites in the local area. They are looking for an experienced operative who has ideally worked in a previous Facilities Management role. This is a great opportunity with the opportunity to progress.
This role is a permanent role working 40 hours a week 8am – 430pm Monday to Friday. Overtime and on call also available.
Daily responsibilities will include:
At least 3 years’ experience in a maintenance role (desirable)
To undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work
Undertaking service repair of windows, doors, plumbing systems, general building fabric and internal fixtures and fittings
Good knowledge of building maintenance
Joinery qualifications/experience
Fire Door experience

Driving license
On offer is a general salary from £30,000 – £34,000 dependant on experience.
