Following on from another successful year, we are now on the lookout for another Recruitment Consultant to join the DO team in Oxford, specialising in Facilities management.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with our established accounts, working on a desk that currently has live vacancies & clients that will be handed over to you from day one. With the team having an exceptional name in Oxfordshire & Buckinhamsire and reputation in the industry this will be a huge benefit to you when building relationships with new & existing clients.

What you will be doing as a Recruitment Consultant?

* Managing and maintaining client relationships through the fulfilment of needs and expectations * Sourcing and selecting candidates for each role

* Adhering to company values * Managing candidate administration including time sheets and right to work documentation

* Using job boards to conduct CV searches and post job adverts

* Using our tailored data base to search for candidates

* Using social media platforms like LinkedIn to become an expert in Facilities management Regardless of recent experience, you will be enrolled on our 3-month training scheme to ensure the most success throughout your time at Daniel Owen.

Previous experience within recruitment is not essential for this role, however previous experience within a sales based role would be beneficial. We have an extensive and established candidate and client database which you will have full access too while working alongside an experienced team who will share a wealth of market knowledge with you.

Job Description:

Working on behalf of the client you will be providing engineering and technical support to plan, schedule, coordinate and execute full life cycle commissioning of critical facilities to ensure timely and precise delivery of this high-value project.

Desired system knowledge:

The ideal candidate would hold experience and knowledge on the following mechanical and electrical systems

  • HVAC
  • Cooling systems (all types)
  • Chiller systems, cooling towers and associated sub systems (both water cooled and air cooled)
  • AHU / Fan coil units etc.
  • Process water systems and treatment
  • Air Humidification
  • Control and instrumentation experience such as SCADA/ PLC/ BMS/ EPMS systems
  • Ability to interpret raw signal data and process it such as temperature and humidity data etc.
  • Control and instrumentation systems
  • Fuel transfer systems
  • Smoke extraction/ pressurization control
  • Network & communication system knowledge such as BACNET, Modbus, Ethernet etc.
  • Power System / Subsystem – HV / MV / LV
  • Distribution system / unit (high voltage / medium voltage experience)
  • Electrical protection system / scheme
  • Transformers and generators
  • Switchgear (PDU, UPS wrap around, distribution gear with source change function)
  • UPS / STS module
  • General understanding of modern power conversion systems such astransistor-based conversion
  • Ability to interpret raw signal data and processing such as UPS/ generator waveforms
  • Control system / EPMS system / SCADA / PLC

Personal Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting & maintenance of Mechanical control systems, HVAC, cooling systems, Building management systems for Mechanical roles
  • Experience in installation, test run, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of distribution systems, from high voltage (HV) transformers to branch circuits for Electrical roles.
  • 7+ years of experience is desired
