Allen & York are excited to be working with a leading global organisation, providing risk and assurance services to a variety of clients.

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Climate Data Science Consultant with expertise in geospatial analysis, artificial intelligence and climate change impacts.

You’ll hold a Masters or Doctoral degree in Climate Science, Environmental Science, Data Science, Geospatial Analysis or a related field. With proven experience in Python programming, geospatial analysis, climate modelling and machine learning, you’ll have extensive experience of working on climate change, sustainability or ESG projects within a consulting environment. An excellent communicator you’ll have strong analytical skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex data-driven insights and solutions.

Experience of working on cloud components and cloud certification would be advantageous to this role.

Painter & Decorator – Insruance works

We are currently looking for an experienced painter and decorator to join our insurance repairs and defects team.

You will be responsible for attending customers private homes and completing re-decorating, wall paper hanging, making good of damaged decoration.

Attention to detail, high standard of work and cleaning up after yourself are all essential parts of this job role and leaving a great impression on your customer is paramount.

This is a long term position that suits a decorator with a good amount of experience looking to secure long term & reliable work within the insurance / domestic sector.

You will need your own Driving licence and tools – You will have an option to use a company van or your own transport. Using a company van would result in a lower pay rate.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Cleaner required for a large nationwide construction company that specialises in residential projects. Our client is looking for experienced and hardworking cleaner to join a project based in Shrewsbury. The site can be accessed by public transport so own transport is not essential.

This contract will be ongoing, with hours being 7:30 – 4:30, Monday-Friday and the option to work overtime at the weekends.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Keeping site tidy
  • Cleaning site office
  • Any other works as directed by the site team

Requirements for the role

  • The ability to perform physical manual labour
  • Own PPE – High vis vest, safety glasses, gloves, dust mask and hard hat can be provided by Daniel Owen
  • Own tools NOT required
