Semi-Skilled Labourer – Callerton

Our client is looking for an experienced labourer to join a project in Callerton.

Will be pre-boarding, painting & siliconing on a new build home site.

The contract is ongoing, with hours being 8am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting with general labouring work
  • Painting, snagging, patching
  • Ad hoc assisting of work on site

Requirements for the Role:

  • a valid CSCS card
  • Own PPE – high viz vest, safety glasses, hard hat and steel capped boots

REVIT MANAGER

ROMFORD, ESSEX/NE London

SALARY: £40K – £45K – SUBJECT TO EXPERIENCE (PLUS BENEFITS)

As part of our continued growth and development we are looking to recruit an experienced Revit Manager to grow & develop our existing team of 5 Revit/CAD technicians, BIM Coordinator and Project Data Administrator in our UK office, working in parallel alongside our Dubai Revit Manager to develop the company’s overall Revit & BIM standards and protocols.

This role will suit someone with an engaging personality who enjoys developing teams, great communication skills and a proactive attitude to driving initiatives forward.

You will enjoy the challenge of mentoring and developing people which you achieve in a supportive and inclusive manner. Reporting to the head of design you will be the interface between the designers internally and client design teams externally in maintaining our best in class reputation for high quality design and deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS

·Minimum 5 years experience delivering Revit models on large scale complex projects

·Advanced experience of working with Autodesk AEC collection and all relevant software (Navisworks, AutoCAD etc).

·Full working knowledge and experience of BIM 360

·Proven track record of delivering complex BIM models

·Solid experience of using multiple CDE programmes

·Experience & knowledge of sketchup 3D modelling would be an advantage

·To have knowledge/experience of hospitality projects and commercial foodservice design would be advantageous but not essential

SPECIFICS FOR ROLE

·Excellent communication and people management skills

·Ability to work on own Initiative, proactive working methodology with a strong attention to detail

·Developing and improving current company Revit/BIM set up, protocols, hardware and software

·Experience in delivering Revit/BIM models to UK industry standards

·Proven experience undertaking initial project setup, establishing delivery strategies to developing workflows, maintaining the quality of project models & associated support documents and managing project specific BIM deliverables

·Manage and develop a team of Revit/CAD technicians focusing on developing their skillsets and abilities, identifying training requirements and delivering in house training programmes as well as out sourcing training where required.

·Resource managing time and project deliverables in an efficient manner and improve workflow efficiencies

·Ability to oversee & work on multiple projects ensuring production deadlines are managed and achieved

·Creating rendered visuals/video walkthroughs from models for team/project use

·Company interface with external design teams communicating and resolving coordination on all Revit/BIM issues

·Keep up to date on latest industry Revit/BIM developments and practices

Our Client is a leading Industrial Engineering company. They are currently seeking a Service Administrator to join their team.

The Service Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the service technicians are organised in an efficient manner and act as the company representative for customers with regards to all service matters.

Service Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Take Customer Calls in respect of Service/Customer Care issues
  • Log Customer Calls on Customer Care Log.
  • Maintain the Log to ensure it is up to date at all times in terms of work complete and work outstanding
  • Generate weekly Call Schedules along with the Service Manager.
  • Order and follow up on orders for Service Materials as instructed by the Service Manager or the Stores Manager.
  • Generate quotations for chargeable call outs
  • Invoice out and secure payment on Chargeable calls
  • Make claims to suppliers for faulty or damaged goods supplied to customers

Service Administrator Requirements:

  • Needs to be an organised person who can multi-task.
  • Needs to be fluent in English and needs to be good communicating with customer over the phone and by email.
  • Needs to be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Senior Civil Engineer Job in Glasgow

My client is a top 10 housebuilder that is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Technical team in Suffolk delivering residential developments across the region.

As the successful Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll be reporting directly to the Technical Director in the Suffolk office. You’ll be experienced as a Civil Engineer specifically on residential development with knowledge of highways and drainage design.

Role & Responsibilities

– Undertake Technical site assessments

– Oversee initial site investigations and site surveys

– Manage internally and external Engineers to produce highways and drainage works

– Assisting in obtaining footpath closures & diversions

– Assisting in the road & sewer adoption process

– Proven track record of delivering s38, s278 & s104

Required Skills & Experience

– Engineering related qualification, degree or equivalent

– Worked within a Technical New build environment for a minimum of 2 years

– Excellent engineering knowledge – foundations, road & sewers

– Good understanding of the Planning and Building Control processes

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills

– Experience using MircoDrainage/WinDES, PDS & AutoCAD
