Are you experienced in the procurement process within the world of interior design? We have a great role working as a Procurement lead supporting the FF&E team of a reputable high-end residential design practice. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package to include 25 days holiday and regular team social events.

The practice offers a full turn-key service across architecture and interior design, and they create timeless and sophisticated spaces for one-off houses and small developments. They have grown into a reputable design practice since 2011 and have a portfolio of heritage and super-prime projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the FF&E designer with sourcing all the information necessary to complete the detailed specification document
  • Compile procurement budget
  • Coordinate all documentation
  • Organise the purchasing schedule, liaising with the team to ensure all project milestones are reached
  • Work closely with suppliers and the accountant to raise all pro forma invoices
  • Liaise with suppliers on all lead times
  • Administrate and track all orders in the purchase process
  • Maintain and update samples library.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ Years’ experience of working in a procurement related role within the interior design sector, this can be from an administrative based role or a design role
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the high-end residential and hospitality sectors
  • Proficient in EstiMac/EstiPC or similar software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to build relationships with suppliers.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking labourer to join them on a project based in Farnborough. You will be working on a new build development which is within the town and should be accessible by public transport, though does also have parking if required. The contract is on a temporary basis, with potential for ongoing work; working hours being 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday, with the option to work overtime at the weekends.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and Clearing site
  • Moving materials
  • Assisting with deliveries
  • General labouring and welfare duties
  • Assisting with trades on site
  • Any other works as directed by the site team

Requirements for the role

  • The ability to perform physical manual labour
  • Own PPE – High vis vest, safety glasses, gloves, dust mask and hard hat can be provided by Daniel Owen
  • Own tools NOT required
  • Asbestos awareness certificate (preferred but not essential)

Position: Facade Designer

Location: Gloucester (Can work remotely 3 days per week)

Salary: Neg DOE

Design Glazing, Cladding and Roofing contracts on commercial project ranging from £250,000 to £2,000,000

TASKS/ROLES

  • To review the project specification and highlight where the specification is not achieved or needs further clarifications.
  • To review the tender documentation against the project specification.
  • To create RFI schedules, issue and update as the design is progressed and the queries are answered.
  • To identify variations on the drawings and project specification, inform the QS and PM and mark on the drawings as required.

Using AUTOCAD:

  • To create general building elevations location drawings.
  • To draw each item in elevation, section and details.
  • To print and issue the drawings for approval, revise to comments and achieve construction stage.
  • To draw and schedule all the brackets, flashings and fixings.

Additional tasks:

  • Attend site design meetings as required, together with the design manager or the project manager.
  • Site survey structural openings and structure details as required.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Must have in-depth knowledge of construction industry methodologies on detailing and building erection sequencing
  • Computer literate in AutoCAD /3D modelling / Microsoft office
  • Have experience of the major aluminium systems supplier’s products
  • Have experience of the major glass names and products.
  • 3-5 years façade detailing and procurement experience

Desirable

  • Experience in Construction or Engineering environment
  • Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related discipline

Waymade have an opportunity within their Quality team. We are looking for an exceptional applicant to provide support to our Quality Systems, Operational Quality and Technical Quality teams.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Providing Quality Operations support to the warehouse, primary and secondary packing and laboratory areas..
  • Supporting activities required to effectively maintain the company Pharmaceutical Quality System.
  • Providing QA support to the business during root cause analysis investigation.
  • Raising Third party notification, CAPA, Deviation and Change Control.
  • Reviewing pharmaceutical product batch files for timely release by Responsible Person (RP) or certification by Qualified Person (QP).
  • Monitoring alerts for potential overdues for Complaints, CAPA, Deviation and Change Control.

We are looking for an experienced quality specialist for this role. Applicants should have the following:

  • A degree in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent.
  • Lead auditor experience / training.
  • Previous experience working in QA, QC or Production with in a GMP environment.
  • Previous experience creating of updating quality policies and procedures.
  • Experience of solid dosage forms, liquids, creams and sterile products would be advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice, Standard Operating Procedures, MHRA guidelines and ICH Guidelines.
