Location: Westminster, London

Business Area: Kier Places – Facilities Management – Government Property Agency (GPA) contract

Contract & hours: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Kier Places are recruiting now for a Facilities Contract Coordinator to join our Facilities Management team on our Government Property Agency contract in the Westminster Ministry of Justice & Home Office Cluster portfolio, supporting the dedicated Contract Manager by being the first point of contact, to enable a comprehensive, efficient & effective service delivery of facilities management to a very prestigious group of buildings in Westminster, London consisting of Old Admiralty Building, 3 Whitehall, and 55 Whitehall.

Key Responsibilities

Collaboration is key to being a Facilities Contractor Coordinator with Kier FM – you can expect your day to include liaising with the client, helpdesk, sub-contractors, and operational staff to ensure that reactive and planned maintenance activities are delivered; monitoring maintenance task progress in both client and Kier helpdesks; maintaining work, costs, schedule, compliance & other output trackers; and working with financial systems and information, including Concept CAFM, PowerBI, and Excel.

The main aim of this role is to facilitate & ensure that we react efficiently and effectively in line with the client SLA and KPI’s -ensuring that Helpdesk systems are kept up to date with accurate information; providing generation administration support to the rest of the team, including the running of reports and engineer compliance paperwork; maintaining concise records of all transactions and liaise regularly with client representative for quote approvals.; and undertake any reasonable additional tasks as required.

What do we need from you?

To really make the most of this role, you’ll have experience in a helpdesk, coordination, scheduling or planner roles, in a fast-moving facilities management, customer focused environment; have a great understanding in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, coupled with knowledge of CAFM (e.g. Concept Evolution). IOSH Managing Safety would be bonus, but this is not essential.

You should have the ability to work within a fast-moving environment whilst ensuring accuracy of all data; a good customer service focused manner & ethos; and bring with you high levels of administration skills.

Investment and Regulatory Finance Manager




Gleeson Recruitment Group are supporting an established infrastructure development firm as they seek to appoint a qualified (ACA / ACMA / ACCA) and experienced Investment & Regulatory Finance Manager.

The business in question manages and develops an asset base comfortably worth over £10bn, generates revenue just under £2bn annually and has c.6000 employees across the UK.

This role encompasses both the management and co-ordination of regulatory reporting requirements and oversight of end-to-end investment processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual Regulatory Returns and associated external reporting matters on behalf of the businesses to the standard required by legislation and external regulatory bodies.
  • Manage and co-ordinate regulatory reporting processes by setting accurate timetables, transparent assumptions, key performance metrics and guidance to ensure delivery to agreed timescales and customer requirements.
  • To provide a means to translate company-wide financial information into the required format for regulatory reporting in a consistent and compliant way.
  • Manage and develop a team of qualified and part qualified finance professionals.
  • Leading the review and development of the investment sanctioning process to ensure appropriate control and governance is in place to accompany transformation of the organisation’s operating model.
  • Oversee end to end investment processes and controls and be the key point of contact for external audit testing relating to fixed assets.
  • Ensuring that the controls associated with the team’s processes are reviewed, updated, challenged, and adhered to by the team.
  • Define, develop, implement, and maintain processes using software tools, spreadsheets and reports to support decision-making and proactively seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through best practice.

This is a hybrid position with a view of working from their Coventry based office 2-3 days a week.
