CSCS Dryliner required for a large nationwide construction company that specialises in commercial projects. Our client is looking for experienced and hardworking labourers to join a project based in Hammersmith, w11 post code.

This contract is for couple of weeks with working hours starting from 8am.

Daily responsibilities for the successful Dryliner will include:

  • Measuring and cutting plasterboard to the right size.
  • Fixing boards to metal or timber ceiling joists.
  • Cutting boards to fit around doorways and windows.
  • Sealing joints using fillers and adhesives.
  • Taping over seals and applying plaster to the boards.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Quantity Surveyor’s responsibilities

  • Take off and procurement of materials and subcontractor packages
  • Compare and analysis of subcontractor tender returns and issue recommendations to the commercial manager
  • Compiling, issuing and agreeing estimates with the design team
  • Subcontractor enquires and management, inclusive of valuations, payment certificates etc
  • Attending site to capture variations, ensuring CVI is captured and monitor working sequence
  • Assisting with compilation of extension of time claims
  • Compiling, issuing and agreeing monthly client valuations and accounts
  • Compiling monthly cost reports to commercial manager
  • Attending bi-weekly design team meetings

To be successful you will need a HNC in construction or relevant degree level qualification and have a good understanding all commercial aspects of high end residential construction projects.
